Completing the Requisition Form

 

The unpaid requisition form is divided into 5 main sections:

  • Requisition Information, 2) Requisition Details, 3) Position Details, 4) Hiring Team Details, 5) Overall Comments

 

Requisition Information

  1. Requisition ID - Pre-populated
  2. Requisition Status - Pre-populated. This status should not be changed.

 

Requisition Details

  1. Position Title - Pre-populated
  2. External Position Title - Pre-populated. The external title should be the same as the "Position Title" field above.
  3. Theme- Click  to select the theme
  4. Group- Select the appropriate group from the drop-down options
  5. Location- Select the appropriate location from the drop-down options
  6. Job Category- Select whether the job category is lab based or non-lab based from the drop-down options. Note that all staff who are located within a laboratory or required to enter a laboratory to perform their role are required to participate in Laboratory Safety Training.
  7. Cost Centre ID-
  8. Appointment Duration- All unpaid appointments apart from Honorary Fellow Managers and Group Leaders are placed on ongoing appointments and will be assessed by the Line Manager subject to their contribution to the Research Group and Institute.

 

Position Details

  1. New or Replacement- Specify if this position is new or a replacement
  2. Replacement For- If replacement then please enter the name of the employee you are replacing
  3. Successful Candidate’s Email- Provide the email address of the unpaid staff member you are going to appoint to this position.
  4. Desired Start Date- This is a preferred start date only. Start date to be confirmed by Human Resources once pre-engagement checks are complete.

 

Hiring Team Details

  1. Line Manager - Enter the line manager's name 
  2. Human Resources - Pre-populated
  3. Human Resources Manager - Click on  icon to see the name of the Human Resources Manager
  4. Finance - Pre-populated
