Manage Alternate Supervisors

 

The Manage Alternate Supervisor functionality allows you to add other users as an alternate supervisor for your direct reports. Alternate Supervisors can perform the same actions on the direct report only, as this function does not filter down the hierarchy like the Primary Supervisor.

Use Case: Direct Reports might work for an extended period on projects that have them reporting to a different manager or supervisor. In this case, you or the administrator can add alternate supervisors.

Either the alternate or primary supervisors can complete the primary supervisor’s tasks.

Note: Alternate supervisors cannot remove themselves; only you or the administrator who added the association, can remove it.

 

Steps to add Alternate Supervisor for a direct report:

 

Step 1: Click Manage Alternate Supervisor from the menu options

 

Step 2: Choose the Alternate Supervisor

 

Step 3: Click Save
